To study Surveying and Geo informatics in any accredited university or polytechnic in Nigeria, here is the Jamb and Waec subject combination and requirements you need to look out for.
Note that English Language is Compulsory for all courses in UTME.

The UTME subjects includes;
Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry, Geography, Art, Biology
and Economics

SUBJECTS SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS (UTME)
(i) BAUCHI requires, Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry,
Technical Drawing, Geography, Biology, Information Technology or Land Surveying.
(ii) BELLS accepts Economics for Quantity Surveying.
(iii) ESUTECH requires for Surveying and Geoinformatics, Mathematics, Physics and any one from Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Government, Biology or Agricultural Science.
(iv) FUTA requires
a) for Quantity Surveying, English Language, Mathematics and Physics plus one subject from Chemistry, Building Construction, Technical Drawing, Geography, Economics and Government.
b) for Remote Sensing Mathematics, Chemistry, and any one from Geography, Biology and Physics.
(v) FUTO requires Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
(vi) IMSU requires Mathematics, Physics and Geography.
(vii) UNILAG requiresa) for Quantity Surveying, Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry, Economics or Geography.
b) for Surveying and Geo-Informatics, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
(viii) MAUTECH requires Mathematics, Physics and any of Economics/ Geography/Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science.
(ix) OAU requires English, Mathematics Physics, Geography or Chemistry.
(x) UNN requires Mathematics, Physics and one other subject.

O’Level Requirements
Five (5) WASSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Tech. Draw, Further Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying/Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign & Design, Wall Hanging , Colour Mixing/Matching &
Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.

SUBJECTS SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS (WASSC)
(i) BAUCHI requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) from Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geography, Biology, Information Technology or Land Surveying.
(ii) BELLS requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, and any one (1) of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics. For Survey and Geoinformatics, five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one from Biology and
Geography.
(iii) ESUTECH requires for Surveying and Geoinformatics, ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) from Chemistry, Geography, Biology, Technical Drawing, Fine and
Applied Arts and Economics. It also requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, English Language and any other science subject. Accepts either of Physics or Chemistry.
(iv) FUTA requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any two (2) of the following subjects: Chemistry, Economics, Building Construction, Technical Drawing,
Geography, and Government.
(v) FUTO requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics plus anyother subject taken from Biology, Geography, Economics, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics.
(vi) IMSU accepts Mathematics, and any other subject.
(vii) UNIJOS accepts five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any subjects from Technical Drawing, Economics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology,
Commerce, Building Construction, Land Surveying and Fine Arts.
(viii) UNILAG requires
a) for Quantity Survey, ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) of Geography, Chemistry,
Technical Drawing and Economics.
b) for Survey and Geo informatics, ‘O’ level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
(ix) MAUTECH requires ‘O’ level credit passes to include English, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) from Geography, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Biology and Further Mathematics.
(x) OAU accepts five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Geography and any other subject
from Economics, Biology, Technical Drawing and Further Mathematics.
(xi) RSUST requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes which must include Physics, English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics and any Science subject from Geography, Technical Drawing, and Economics.
(xii) UNIOSUN requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) of Physics, Chemistry, Building Construction and/or Technical Drawing.
(xiii) UNIZIK accepts Technical Drawing, Fine Arts and Economics.
Accepts ‘O’ level Pass in English Language.
(xiv) UNN accepts five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes which must include Mathematics, Physics and English Language.
(xv) UYO requires five (5) O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Physics plus any two (2) from Chemistry, Economics, Geography, and Technical Drawing

Direct Entry Requirements
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Mathematics or Physics and Chemistry, Geography or Fine Arts.
(ii) ND/HND upper credits in relevant field.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS (DIRECT ENTRY)
(i) BAUCHI accepts
a) for Quantity Surveying ‘A’ level/ IJMB or equivalent passes in Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Geography, Economics, Building Construction, Information Technology and Land Surveying
b) NCE merit/credit ND/HND lower credit in Surveying/Geoinformatics,
Photogrammetry, Cartography, Civil Engineering, Building Construction and Architecture.
c) for Surveying and Geo informatics, two (2) ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Geography, Economics, Building Construction and Land Surveying. d) ND/HND upper credit in programmes relevant to Architecture.
(ii) BELLS accepts
a) two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Economics.
For Survey and Geoinformatics Chemistry instead of Economics.
(iii) ESUTECH accepts
a) first degree in relevant programmes. Also accepts HND upper credit into 400 level of the five (5) year programme.
b) ND lower credit.
c) for Quantity Surveying ‘A’ level/ND upper credit in Building and Quantity Surveying. ‘A’ level pass is equally acceptable.
d) for Surveying and Geoinformatics, two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics in addition to UTME requirements. Accepts ND/HND in Land Surveying and Geo informatics from Federal School of
Surveying or any other NBTE accredited institution.
e) ‘A’ level Cambridge.
f) ND upper credit into 200 level from Federal School of Surveying or any other NBTE accredited institution.
(iv) FUTA accepts ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics,
Geography and Economics or ND upper credit in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology or other relevant courses in Environmental Design and Management.
(v) FUTO requires
a) at least three (3) ‘A’ level passes not below C in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
b) ND/HND upper credit in relevant programmes and does not accept NCE. Candidates must in addition meet the UTME requirements.
(vi) UNIILORIN accepts for Surveying and Geo informatics, HND lower credit in Surveying and Geo informatics for admission into 200 level.
(vii) IMSU – No Direct Entry.
(viii) IMSU accepts ND credit in Land Surveying and ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics plus the UTME requirements could be admitted to 200 level. ‘O’ level credit pass in Geography would be an advantage.
(ix) MAUTECH accepts
a) GCE `A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics.
b) ND lower credit in relevant programmes.
(x) FUTMINNA accepts ND upper credit or HND lower credit plus the UTME requirements.
(xi) FUTMINNA accepts ND/HND lower credit in relevant programmes and requires ‘O’ level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and any other two (2) relevant subjects
(xii) UNILAG – accepts
a) passes in JUPEB subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry.
b) HND/ND upper credit into 300 level.
(xiii) OAU requires
a) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and any two (2) from Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Geography.
b) HND upper credit in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building and Agricultural Engineering from NBTE accredited institutions.
(xiv) UNN accepts
a) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics or equivalents in addition to UTME requirements.
b) ND upper credit or equivalent in Surveying, from NBTE accredited institutions.
c) first degree in the Physical Sciences and Engineering programmes.
