JAMB subject combination and requirements for Forestry and Wildlife

To study Forestry and Wildlife in any accredited university or polytechnic in Nigeria, here is the Jamb and Waec subject combination and requirements you need to look out for.

Note that English Language is Compulsory for all courses in UTME.

The UTME requirements includes;
Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Physics or Mathematics.

(i) FED-DUTSINMA requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Mathematics/Physics

O’Level Requirements
Five (5) WASSC credit passes in English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and one of Physics, Economics, Further Mathematics and Statistics.
(i) DELSU accepts ‘O’ level pass in English Language.
(ii) OOU requires Chemistry and any two (2) of Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Science and Geography.
(iii) CRUTECH – Same as Animal Science and Fisheries
(iv) UNIBEN accepts; Statistics and Further Mathematics. Also requires
at least ‘O’ level pass in Physics and ‘O’level pass in Biology for
candidates with ‘O’ level credit in Agricultural Science.

Direct Entry Requirements
Two ’A’ level passes in Chemistry and Biology or Agric Science or
Zoology or Botany.
(i) UNIBEN UNIBEN accepts ND upper credit/HND lower credit in any one of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, and Cooperatives, Fisheries, Forestry & Wildlife Management, Geology, Advanced Microbiology, Food and Brewing Science, Science Laboratory Technology plus the UTME requirements. NCE merit in Agricultural
Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics plus the UTME requirements.
Does not accept ‘A’ level pass in Health Science.
(ii) FED-DUTSINMA requires two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and
Biology/Botany/Agric Science/Zoology/Physics.
