LASU Cut-Off Mark 2022/2023: We are pleased to inform the general public that the Lagos State University management has released its Cut-off marks for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The Lagos State University (LASU) is owned and managed by the Lagos state government. LASU is located in Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria. LASU offers various undergraduate courses/programs.

Lagos State University courses are fully accredited and recognized by the National University Commission (NUC), a body overseeing all tertiary institutions (Universities) in Nigeria.

This is to inform the general public, especially aspirants of the Lagos State University, that the LASU cut-off mark for the JAMB 2022/2023 academic session is 180. Candidates who scored at least 180 in the just-concluded Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination (UTME) and had chosen the Lagos State University as their first choice of institution are eligible to purchase and participate in the Lagos State University’s screening exercise.

LASU departmental cut-off marks for all courses for the 2022/2023 academic year is 180 therefore, candidates who scored 180 and above are eligible to participate in the POST-UTME examination for any of the courses chosen in JAMB.

How to Calculate LASU Aggregate Score 

Kindly note that the LASU Post-UTME is 100 marks in total. To calculate the LASU aggregate score, kindly follow the steps outlined below.

  • Divide your JAMB/UTME score by 8,
  • Divide your  LASU POST-UTME score by  2,
  • Add up the results.

Let’s make it clear with this example:

Let’s say you scored 240 in JAMB and also scored 80 in your LASU’s POST-UTME screening test, follow the steps below to calculate your LASU aggregate score.

Step I:

240 divided by 8 equals 30

Step II:

80 divided by 2 equals 40

Now sum up the 2 products you got earlier
