JAMB subject combination and requirements for estate management

To study Estate Management in any accredited university or polytechnic in Nigeria, here is the Jamb and Waec subject combination and requirements you need to look out for.

Note that English Language is Compulsory for all courses in UTME.

The UTME Subjects includes;
Mathematics, Economics and one other subject
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS (UTME)
(i) ABSU requires Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from
Chemistry, Geography, Agricultural Science and Biology.
(ii) BASU accepts for Environmental Management Technology:
Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.
(iii) BASU accepts for Estate Management: Mathematics, one Science
subject and either Geography or Economics
(iv) BELLS requires either Chemistry, Geography or Physics as one
other subject
(v) COOU requires Biology, Chemistry.
(vi) COVENANT requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics,
one Science Subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and one social
Science Subject.
(vii) CRESCENT requires Mathematics, Economics and one other
Science subject.
(viii) FUTA requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subject from Geography, Chemistry, Agricultural Science/
Biology, Commerce, Government and Technical Drawing.
(ix) UNILAG one ( 1) of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and
Principles of Accounting as the fourth (4th) subject.
(x) OAU accepts any three (3) of Mathematics, Economics and any one
from Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Technical Drawing and
Fine Arts.
(xi) RSUST requires Mathematics, Physics and any other subject from
Chemistry, Geography and Fine Arts.
(xii) UNIZIK requires either of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural
Science , Geography or Fine Arts as the third subject.

O’Level Requirements
Five (5) WASSC credit passes including Chemistry, Mathematics and English
Language
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS (WASSC)
(i) ABSU requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language
Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects from Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Technical Drawing.
(ii) AUCHIPOLY-DEG requires Credit level pass in five (5) subjects at
not more than two (2) sittings to include Mathematics, English
Language, Economics and any other two (2) subjects.
(iii) BASU requires
a) for Environmental Management Technology, five (5) ‘O’ level credit
passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and
Physics or Geography.
b) for Estate Management, five (5) ‘O’ level credits in English
Language, Mathematics, plus 2 Science Subjects from Physics,
Chemistry, Biology or Agric Science and a Credit in either Economics or
Geography.
(iv) BELLS requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English
Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) from Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, and Technical Drawing.
(v) COOU requires at least ‘O’ level pass in English Language.
(vi) COVENANT requires credit passes in Economics, one Science
subjects and one of Geography or Technical Drawing.
(vii) CRUTECH requires Geography and Economics.
(viii) CRESCENT requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes including
English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2)
subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies/Commerce,
Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science and Technical Drawing.
(ix) CRESCENT requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English
Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) of Physics,
Chemistry, Economics, Government, Biology, Social Studies and
Technical Drawing.
(x) ESUT requires five (5) credit in English Language, Mathematics,
Economics and any from Physics, Surveying, Building Construction,
Geography, Biology, Technical Drawing and Fine Arts.
(xi) FUTA requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes or equivalent at NOT
more than two (2) sittings. The credits should be in English Language,
Mathematics, Economics, and two (2) others from Geography,
Chemistry, Agricultural Science/Biology, Commerce, Government, Fine
Arts and Technical Drawing. Candidate is expected to have at least a
pass in Physics.
(xii) IMSU requires five (5) credit passes in English Language,
Mathematics, Economics or Geography and one other from Biology,
Physics, Chemistry, Government and Technical Drawing.
(xiii) JABU requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English
Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and any one of Geography, Fine Art, Woodwork, Technical Drawing, Biology or Economics plus ND
at upper credit level.
(xiv) UNIJOS requires five (5) credit passes including English
Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) from
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Book-
Keeping/Financial Accounting, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Surveying
and Building Construction.
(xv) UNILAG requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes including English
Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Chemistry,
Physics, Biology, Geography, AgriculturalScience, Technical Drawing/
Fine Arts and Financial Accounting.
(xvi) FUTMINNA requires ‘O’ level credit passes including English
Language, Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry or Physics and any one
(1) of Biology, Geography and Accounting. (xvii) OAU requires five (5)
‘O’ level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Economics and any
other two (2) from Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, Building
Construction, Technical Drawing, Fine Art, Wood Work, ICT, Block
Laying and Concrete Work, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Electrical
Installation and Maintenance Work, Marketing and Painting and
Decoration.
(xvii) UNIOSUN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credits in SSC including
Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics and Geography.
(xvii) UNIZIK requires credit pass in Economics.
(xxii) UNN requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes at not more than
two (2) sittings in Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any
other two (2) subjects one of which must be a science subject.
(xxiii) UNIUYO does not require ‘O’ level credit passes in Chemistry for
Estate Management. Requires ‘O’ level credit pass in Economics.

Direct Entry Requirements
Two (2) A’ LEVEL passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography,
Biology and Physics
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS (DIRECT ENTRY)
(i) BSU
a) for Environmental Management Technology:
1) two (2) ‘A’ level passes in English Language or Mathematics and
Chemistry/Biology Geography/Biology or Agricultural Science.
2) ND/HND upper credit in the Sciences or any relevant programmes.
b) for Estate Management) accepts ND lower credit in Estate
Management from a recognized polytechnic. The candidate must also
have the five(5) O’ Level requirements in English Language,
Mathematics, two (2) science subjects and ‘O ’level credit pass in
Economics or Geography.
(ii) BELLS accepts
a) two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Economics or Geography/
Physics/ Chemistry.
b) ND/HND upper credit in Estate Management.
(iii) CARITAS – No Direct Entry.
(iv) CRESCENT accepts
a) ‘A’ level/IJMB in relevant subjects and at acceptable grades.
b) ND or HND in Estate Management or allied professions or
professional certificate may be assessed and placed appropriately.
(v) ESUT accepts ND/HND in Estate Management.
(vi) FUTA accepts ND in Estate Management or any programme
relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at
least upper credit, plus UTME requirements or any other equivalent
qualification or two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Economics and at least, any
one of Mathematics, Geography, Biology or Chemistry; in addition to
the ‘O’ level requirements.
(vii) UNIILORIN accepts for Estate Management HND lower credit in
Estate Management for admission into 200 level provided the
candidate has at least ND lower credit in Estate Management; in
addition to ‘O’ level requirements for Estate Management.
(viii) IMSU – accepts HND in Estate Management.
(ix) JABU accepts two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Economics,
Geography, Biology and Chemistry. ND in Estate Management or field
relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at
least upper credit.
(x) UNIJOS accepts
a) IJMB/‘A’ level in two (2) relevant subjects or ND credit with in
Estate Management or relatedprogrammes or Professional Certificate
who applied through JAMB could be admitted into Year II of the
programme, provided that they satisfy the relevant ‘O’ level
requirements specified above.
b) Degrees in related programmes or HND in Estate Management may
also be considered for Direct Entry admission, provided they satisfy the
‘O’ level credits requirement.
(xi) UNILAG accepts
a) very good passes in JUPEB/ ‘A’ level subjects i.e. Mathematics,
Economics and any one of Chemistry or Geography.
b) ND/HND Distinction requirement in relevant programmes into
300/200 level.
c) Candidates must satisfy ‘O’ level requirements.
(xii) FUTMINNA accepts ND/HND lower credit in relevant course into
200 and 300 level respectively in addition to UTME requirement.
Requires ‘A’ level credit pass in Mathematics and Economics or
Geography plus five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language,
Mathematics, Economics and any of Further Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and Technical Drawing.
(xiii) OAU requires
a) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Economics, and one from
Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Fine Arts and Tech. Drawing,
b) upper credit in Environmental Planning, Design and Management.
(xiv) ODUDUWA accepts ND/HND upper credit in relevant
programmes.
(xv) RSUST accepts ND/HND upper credit in related field into
200/300 levels respectively plus UTME requirements. Candidates who
possess an ND lower Credit or a pass with cognate experience may be
considered into 200 level.
(xvi) UNIOSUN accepts two (2) good passes at ‘A’ level in
Mathematics, Economics, Geography and Chemistry;ND/HND in Estate
Management and/or field relevant to environmental planning, design
and management with at least upper credit score.
(xvii) UNIUYO accepts ND upper credit and HND lower credit in
relevant programmes in addition to UTME requirements.
