The University of Lagos is a federal government-owned and managed tertiary institution, located in Lagos, Nigeria.   • Interested applicants must acquire at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any two Arts or Social Sciences subjects at O-Level in not more than two sittings.
  • Interested applicants must take part in the Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have acquired a minimum score of 280 and above.
  • Applicants must take part in the UNILAG POST-UTME screening exercise and must have obtained the departmental cut off mark for LAW.

UNILAG General Admission Requirements For Law

  • Interested candidates must take part in the Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have acquired a minimum score of at least 200 to be eligible for UNILAG’s POST-UTME screening test.
  • Applicants must obtain at least 5 credits with (English, Literature and Mathematics inclusive) in their O’level result in not more than two sittings.
  • All eligible applicants must also take part in the UNILAG compulsory POST-UTME screening test.
  • Applicants must have attained the age of 16 to be offered admission into the university. If you are not up to 16 yet, you will not be granted admission.
  • Candidates are expected to meet the required admission cutoff mark for their respective courses to be offered admission.

UNILAG Direct Entry Requirements For Law.

Below are all the official direct entry admission requirements for Law at the University of Lagos, interested applicants are advised to take note.

  • Interested applicants must acquire a minimum of at least five (5) credits including English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any two Arts or Social Sciences in not more than two sittings.
  • UNILAG accepts B.Sc. with a minimum of 2nd Class Honours in a relevant discipline (Arts).
