To study Igbo and Linguistics in any accredited university or polytechnic in Nigeria, here is the Jamb and Waec subject combination and requirements you need to look out for.
Note that English Language is Compulsory for all courses in UTME.
The UTME subjects includes;
Igbo and two (2) subjects from Arts and social Sciences.
O’Level Requirements
You need;
Five (5) WASSC credit passes to include Igbo, English Language and any
other Arts subject.
Direct Entry Requirements
You need;
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Igbo and one (2)Arts/Social Sciences
subject.
(ii) NCE in Igbo and one Arts subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
IMSU accepts ‘A’ level passes/NCE merit.
