The American University of Nigeria (AUN) is a privately owned and managed university in Nigeria. AUN  is a degree-awarding institution. The American University of Nigeria is located in Yola, Yola Local Government Area in Adamawa State, Nigeria. AUN offers an American style of higher education at her undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. AUN was Founded in 2004 by the former Vice President of Nigeria and the 2019 Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate for the presidential election Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. AUN is the first American-style university in Sub-Saharan Africa. AUN seats on a massive 2,400 hectares in Yola. The American University of Nigeria currently boasts of an estimated student population of about 1,500 undergraduate students spread across its 87 faculty members. If you’ve found your desired course, you can enroll in the Bachelor’s degree programs either through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), by Direct Entry, or through the Pre-degree Programme. Basically, the purpose of the entry requirement is to ensure that those admitted have the necessary preparedness to scale through the program. There is a compulsory screening test for all eligible candidates.
